Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, signed a cooperation with Mastercard and cryptocurrency payment infrastructure provider Emusbee to launch a commission-free cryptocurrency debit card on Jul. 5. According to Bitget's announcement, users can also use cryptocurrency payment functions on Apple Pay, Google Pay, Witchett Pay, and Ali Pay through Bitget Wallet registration.
2. Vitalik Buterin Proposes an Upgrade To Limit Ethereum Gas Cost
Vitalik Buterin, founder of Ethereum, presented an upgrade on Jul. 6 that limits gas costs in the Ethereum network to up to 16.77 million Ethereum(ETH). Buterin presented the upgrade 'EIP-7983', claiming that it can prevent denial of service(DoS) attacks in Ethereum networks and enhance Ethereum virtual machine(EVM) compatibility.
3. Arkham Intelligence "Recently, Bitcoin Whale Huge Transfer Is Not Signs Of Sale"
In a report published by the on-chain analysis platform Arkham Intelligence on the 6th, it announced that the large-scale transfer of Bitcoin(BTC) whale wallet on Jul. 5 will not lead to a sell-off. On Jul. 5, Bitcoin whale wallet transferred about $8.6 billion in Bitcoin for the first time in 14 years. Arkham Intelligence attributed the large transfer of Bitcoin Whale Wallet to upgrades in its Bitcoin network.
