1. U.S. Senate to Vote on Stablecoin Regulation Plan at May. 26
The U.S. Senate will vote on the stablecoin regulation bill 'GENIUS'. Republican Party leader John Thune, who has a majority in the Senate, said in an interview with Politico on Apr. 29 that the GENIUS bill will be voted on on Memorial Day, which is designated as May 26.

2. U.S. SEC Announces Review of XRP, Dogecoin Spot ETFs Postponed To June 17-15
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) postponed the announcement of the screening of XRP and Dogecoin(DOGE) spot exchange-traded funds(ETFs) applied by Franklin Templeton and Bitwise to June 17 and 15, respectively. The previous two applications' screening announcements were May 3 and May 1, but the SEC notified that additional time was needed to review the application, delaying the announcement date of the screening for the two applications.

3. CEO of Ripple "XRP to Win Landslide Match Against SWIFT"
In an interview with Fox Business on Apr. 29, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said XRP will collapse the International Association for Interbank Communications(SWIFT) due to its excellent performance. He explained that XRP in the international remittance sector overwhelms SWIFT in terms of speed and efficiency. ipple CEO's comments come after news broke that he is seeking a partnership between SWIFT and Ripple.

4. U.K. Announces Draft Regulation of Crypto Integration
The British government announced the draft of the UK cryptocurrency integration regulation at the summit held on Apr. 29. The British government said it has drafted a regulatory bill as part of its national economic strategy, focusing on financial stability, investor protection, and market transparency. The UK government's draft cryptocurrency integration regulation bill defined cryptocurrency companies as being supervised by existing financial companies.

5. U.S. Commerce Secretary "Bitcoin as Part of National Financial Strategy"
In an interview with Bitcoin Magazine on Apr. 29, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Rutnick once again expressed the Trump administration's support for Bitcoin. He explained that the U.S. government now recognizes the economic benefits of Bitcoin and uses Bitcoin as part of its national financial strategy.

6. Nexo Returns to U.S. Markets amid Changes in Airflow
Nexo, a cryptocurrency lending platform that effectively shut down its service in the U.S. market in 2023, has announced plans to re-enter the U.S. market. On Apr. 29, co-founder Antony Trenchev Nexo said in a business trip that he would resume business in the U.S. due to the launch of the second Trump administration and the subsequent change in the U.S. administration's attitude toward the cryptocurrency industry.
