1. Trump Forewarns Dinner With 220 Top Trump Token Holders
Trump tokens surged about 60% on Apr. 24 after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a dinner with 220 top holders of his meme coin Trump token(TRUMP). The official website of the Trump token announced on Apr. 23 that it will aggregate Trump token holdings from Apr. 23 to May. 12 and provide invitations to the top 220 holders for dinner with Trump.

2. Russia to Launch Government-Backed Cryptocurrency Exchange
A cryptocurrency exchange supported by the Russian Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance will be launched. According to a report by Russia's Tass news agency on Apr. 23, the Russian Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance are planning to launch a ruble-linked stablecoin that will be traded on the central exchange(CEX) and the exchange. The exchange will be available only to those who have been granted 'highest grade' status by the Russian government.

3. Tron Network Breaks $70 Billion In Tether Distribution
The total circulation of stablecoin tethers(USDT) in Tron Network(TRC-20) exceeded $70 billion as of Apr. 23. Tron's decentralized operations organization 'Tron DAO' announced in an official statement that low fees have led to a significant increase in international remittances through the Tron network, bringing the average daily volume of Tether within the Tron network to $19 billion in April.

4. Jack Mallers Appoints 21 Capital Financial Representative
Jack Mallers who developed the Lightning network, has been appointed as the financial manager of '21 Capital', a joint venture founded for the purpose of selling Bitcoin(BTC). In an official press release on Apr. 23, 21 Capital announced that it has hired Jack Malus as its financial manager and has started managing about 42,000 Bitcoin. 21 Capital was founded by U.S. financial services companies Canter Fitzgerald, Tether, Softbank, and Bitfinex for the purpose of selling Bitcoin.

5. PayPal Announces 3.7% Annual Interest Offer To Its Own Stablecoin Holder
PayPal officially announced on Apr. 23 that it will provide a 3.7% annual staking interest to holders of its own stablecoin PayPal USD(PYUSD).

6. U.S. SEC Seeks Cooperation with El Salvador on Cryptocurrency Regulation
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) announced on Apr. 23 that it is planning a 'cryptocurrency sandbox experiment' with the National Digital Asset Commission(CNAD) of El Salvador for smooth and safe cryptocurrency transactions between the two countries. The SEC and CNAD will study practical cases of cryptocurrency crossing the border between the two countries through a simplified regulatory proposal.
